The electric motor on this M500-1444 unit must be controlled with a Variable Frequency Drive to limit the motor speed to 900 rpm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Pratissoli KF40 pump can be run at 1000 rpm to achieve a rated flow of 188 Lpm at up to 100 Bar maximum pressure; the required power is 48.8 Hp (35.9 kW). To run at this speed the pump must be fed by a booster pump capable of delivering twice the plunger pump rated flow (~376 Lpm) at between 2 to 3 Bar.
